UCB Announces the National Rollout of
Their Family RA Scholarship
Program
In 2008, UCB conducted a pilot scholarship program that awarded 10 scholarships, of $10,000 each, to students living beyond the boundaries of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The program was such a success that UCB expanded the scope of the program to 31 one-time scholarships in 2009. In 2010, UCB will again award 31 scholarships to qualified applicants.
This opportunity extends to people diagnosed with RA and their immediate family members (parent, spouse, child, or sibling) who are seeking an associate's, undergraduate, or graduate degree, or are enrolled in a trade school educational program.
The deadline for application submission is March 19, 2010.
UCB, Inc., is a global biopharmaceutical company committed to developing innovative treatments for inflammatory diseases such as RA. We're dedicated to creating unique programs and tools to aid those with RA in fulfilling their educational ambitions.
We are proud to sponsor a scholarship program that recognizes and rewards your ability to take control of RA—and not allow it to control you.
